Hockley Developments has appointed Alex Cockayne to the position of Quantity Surveyor.
Managing Director, Alan Forsyth, said: “As expected we had a lot of good applicants for this position, but Alex’s experience working for different sized companies, and his clear people skills, as well as being based locally, meant he was a clear favourite for the position and we are delighted he is now on board and helping make a difference.
“With 5 live sites in Nottingham and over £20mil GDV of developments going through planning for 2021, this is an important position and we believe Alex will be an excellent fit for the company.”
Alex previously worked at both Clegg Construction and North Midland Construction.
Alex said: “I am really pleased to be joining Hockley Developments at a stage where they have a variety of exciting projects both ongoing and in the pipeline. With the projects all local, it only adds to that excitement seeing and playing a part in developments that are on my doorstep.
